Hamish founded Compac Sorting Equipment in 1984, making it a global leader in packaging calibration technology until its acquisition by Tomra in 2016. As the principal shareholder of Sienz, Hamish brings extensive experience in technological advancements within the industry.

Nigel, one of the original shareholders of Compac, led the creation of the industry-leading Spectrim vision system. His vast knowledge in defect detection and sorting systems for fruits and vegetables positions him as a leading authority in this field worldwide.

David Buys

David Buys Director / Mentor

Dave, an original shareholder of Compac, leads the business and market development at Sienz. His strategic vision has been instrumental in expanding Compac's international markets and joint ventures, contributing to the company's global growth and establishing a strong presence in various regions.

Gavin Reeve

Gavin, one of the original shareholders of Compac, developed its sorting technology, global operations, and service over his 35 years in the industry. Sebastián Martinez Silberman

Sebastián began his career with the Compac team in New Zealand in 2002 before returning to South America in 2006 to establish the foundations of Compac Latin America. After Compac's acquisition by Tomra in 2017, Sebastián, along with Compac's founders, co-founded Sienz and has led the team ever since.

Marcus Davis

Engineering Director

Marcus has made significant contributions to the design and mechanical development of the industry's leading classifier, with several patents. Based in Spain since the inception of Sienz, he leads the global engineering team, continuing to drive innovation and excellence in sorting technology.

Manuel Gonzalez

Global General Manager

Over the past two decades, Manuel has been the General Manager at various agritech companies, managing teams of over 900 employees and achieving sales of up to 250 million USD. He joined Compac Latin America in 2017 and later Sienz, where he enhances the performance of the sales and operations teams.

Eduardo Ruggerio

Chief Financial Officer

Eduardo brings over 15 years of experience in accounting and taxation, advising a wide range of companies. For the past 10 years, he has held CFO positions in the fruit and vegetable industry (Compac LA and Sienz). He specializes in global tax planning, compliance with international accounting standards, and business risk management.
