Hamish Kennedy

Director / Mentor

Hamish founded Compac Sorting Equipment in 1984 (*1) and grew it into a global leader in packaging sorting technology until its acquisition 2016. As a major shareholder in Sienz, he brings extensive experience in technological advancements in the industry.

Nigel Beach

CTO

Nigel was one of Compac’s original shareholders (*1), where he led the creation of the vision systems. His expertise in fruit and vegetable defect detection and grading systems makes him a leading authority in this field worldwide. In Sienz, he leads technology development including the Orbital vision systems.

Dave Buys

Director / Mentor

Dave, was one the original Compac shareholders (*1), where he led the business and market development. In Sienz His strategic vision is been instrumental in expanding international markets and joint ventures, contributing to the company’s global growth and establishing a strong presence in various regions.

Gavin Reeve

Director / Mentor

Gavin, was one of Compac’s original shareholders (*1), developed its sorting technology together with global operations, and service over his 35 years in the industry. He now brings his vast experience to Sienz to support operations, service, and technology development, ensuring the continued advancement and success of the company’s offerings.

Sebastián Martínez Silberman

CEO

Sebastian began his career in the industry in 2002 at Compac (*1) in New Zealand before returning to South America in 2006 to lay the foundations for Compac Latin America which became Sinez Latin America in 2017. Sebastian co-founded Sienz and has led the team ever since.

Marcus Davies

Engineering
Director

Marcus worked as head of engineering at Compac (*1) for more than 15 years where he made significant contributions to the mechanical design and development of sorters. Based in Spain since the beginning of Sienz, he leads the global engineering team, continuing to drive innovation and excellence in sorting technology.
